Personal Training & Class Terms – Let’s Work Together!
Hi there! Before we start working together, these are the terms that will guide our sessions and classes. They’re here to keep things clear and fair for both of us. If you have any questions, feel free to ask anytime!
Who You’re Working With
All training is provided directly by your personal trainer Steve Green ( that’s me!). I’m a self-employed professional, so this agreement is just between us and not with a gym or third party.
By starting sessions or classes with me, you’re agreeing to these terms. Don’t worry, your legal rights are still protected too.
What You Can Expect From Me
I’ll create an individual training plan designed to support your goals, taking into account your lifestyle, fitness level, and health background.
One-to-one Sessions typically last around 60 minutes, unless we agree otherwise.
I’ll always aim to support, guide, and motivate you as best I can. While I can help set the path, your results will depend on your effort both during and outside of our sessions.
Everybody’s journey is different, so while I’ll do everything I can, specific outcomes can’t be guaranteed.
All your personal information is treated with full confidentiality.
Your Health & Safety
Your wellbeing matters most. However, please be aware:
I am not a medical professional, and I’m not qualified to diagnose or treat medical conditions. You should speak to your GP or healthcare provider before starting any fitness programme, especially if you have pre-existing conditions.
Before we begin, you’ll need to complete a quick health questionnaire. I might also ask for a letter from your GP confirming it’s safe for you to exercise.
You must let me know of any injuries, illnesses, or changes to your health that could affect your ability to exercise safely, now or in the future. If needed, you’ll also be asked to provide additional medical info from your practitioner.
By training with me, you accept the risks that come with physical activity. While I will do my best to keep things safe, I can’t be held responsible for injuries or issues that arise.
I am not responsible for any undeclared or unknown medical conditions.
If you bring children or others to a session or class, they remain your responsibility.

We’re in this together! To get the most out of our time:
Please show up on time, in appropriate clothing and footwear.
Be ready to give it your best effort, your results depend on your consistency and commitment.
My Commitment to You
I’m here to support you every step of the way. When we work together, you can expect the following from me:
Personalised Support: I’ll design your workouts to suit your unique goals, fitness level, and lifestyle, whether we’re working one-on-one or you want to train solo.
Consistency and Professionalism: I’ll be on time, prepared, and fully present for every session or class. Your time matters, and I’ll always respect it.
Safe and Effective Training: I’ll guide you through exercises safely, offering modifications when needed and keeping your wellbeing as the top priority.
Open Communication: I’m always here to answer questions, listen to concerns, and adjust your plan as needed. I can give you as much or as little technical detail as you want. Your feedback is important and helps shape your journey.
Encouragement and Motivation: Fitness isn’t just physical it’s mental, too. I’ll be your cheerleader, coach, and motivator, helping you stay focused and inspired.
Supplement Guidance – with Caution: I’m happy to share general tips or personal experiences with fitness supplements if you ask, but please remember I’m not a qualified nutritionist or medical professional. Any advice I offer is purely informal. It’s really important that you do your own research and speak to a registered dietitian, GP, or relevant professional before starting any supplement regime. Your health and safety always come first.
We’re a team in this, and I’ll always give you my best to help you become your best.
Cancellations & Refunds
Life happens, I get it! Just keep these in mind:
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule, I will do my best to rearrange the session. If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, the full session/class fee may still apply.
Once purchased, sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Running Late
If you arrive late, we’ll use the remaining time but the session may still end as scheduled, as I might have other clients or commitments.
If I’m running late (don’t worry, this almost never happens!), I’ll add that time on either then or at a future session; your time matters to me.
Legal Bits (But Still Important!)
I do not accept liability for any direct, indirect, consequential, special or any other losses you may experience.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, my total liability is limited to the cost of one session, over the full duration of our relationship.
If I ever have to stop training for personal or professional reasons, I’ll refund any unused sessions.
I may update these terms from time to time for example, if the law changes or I offer new services. I’ll always try to let you know in advance, but otherwise, updated terms will be available on my website.
Privacy & Data
Your data is safe with me. I’ll only use your contact info and preferences as you’ve agreed or as necessary to provide my services, in line with GDPR rules. You can update your info at any time. For more info, just ask.
Photos & Videos
I may occasionally ask if I can take photos or short videos during sessions or classes for marketing or social media. If you’re not comfortable with that, no problem just let me know.
Force Majeure
Sometimes life throws curveballs we can’t control. If sessions or classes can’t go ahead due to events outside of either of our control like extreme weather, natural disasters, illness, government restrictions, or technical failures we both agree there won’t be any liability or compensation owed. We’ll do our best to reschedule where possible.
Intellectual Property
Any training plans, written materials, or resources I provide are for your personal use only. Please don’t share, copy, or distribute them without my permission. All materials remain my intellectual property unless we agree otherwise.
Entire Agreement
These terms represent the full understanding between us. Any changes or updates need to be agreed in writing (including email) so we’re both on the same page. Nothing said verbally overrides what’s in this agreement.
Severability
If any part of these terms is found to be legally invalid or unenforceable, the rest still apply. We’ll work together to replace anything that’s problematic with a valid alternative that’s as close as possible in meaning.
Assignment
This agreement is between you and me personally. Neither of us can transfer our responsibilities or rights under this agreement to anyone else without written consent from the other party.
Contact Details
If your contact info changes, please let me know as soon as you can so I can stay in touch. Likewise, I’ll make sure you have my up-to-date contact details too.
Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any legal matters will be handled under their jurisdiction.
